You’ve been struggling for too long.
Over the years, you’ve accumulated a collection of negative beliefs about yourself. And whenever life gets complicated, that voice in your head reminds you of why you will continue to be stuck this way forever. “I’m not good enough.” “I don’t deserve to be loved.” “I’ll always be alone.”
This constant internal criticism keeps you trapped in the same destructive patterns repeatedly. You become overwhelmed and shrink from the challenge at the first sign of an emotional trigger.
And the cycle repeats; you take one step forward, arrive at an obstacle, and then move two steps back. You can’t seem to make any forward progress.
You deserve to regain your footing.
It’s terrible to feel like you have no agency in your life. But even at your lowest times, you’ve still experienced brief moments of happiness or laughter that remind you of what’s possible.
We’ll work to cultivate this glimmer of hope into something more significant and build the glowing ember of joy into a roaring fire you can always rely on.
Therapy can be the answer.
There is a way to get out of your head and feel a more profound sense of peace and well-being instead, and therapy provides that way forward.
It can be overwhelming to think about everything that’s beyond your control. There’s no way of knowing what life will throw at us from one moment to the next. Let’s focus on what you can control – specifically, your thoughts and behaviors.
Through therapy, you’ll learn to recognize how the pain of your past affects your present, and together, we’ll heal these wounds so they don’t affect your future. You can begin to feel confident in yourself again and rebuild trust in your strength and resilience.
Finding your purpose in life and connecting with your true nature is possible. It’s time to take the next step on your journey.
Here’s how we will work together.
From the start, you will receive encouragement to access your sense of well-being and rediscover it, no matter how hard it has been for your to feel good in the past. I will share with you some techniques to help you reconnect to that deep sense of well-being when we begin working together.
During our sessions, we will focus on removing those triggers, negative feelings, and beliefs because triggers create a disconnection from your inner peace. Then, we will dig down to identify the cause of those triggers.
I believe therapy aims to provide emotional freedom – to express feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and act from one’s authentic being.
The focus will always be on you and your needs. Therefore, our approach will depend on what helps you overcome what keeps you from moving forward.
About Me
You are not alone.
I’ve been where you are. At one time, I judged myself so harshly that it felt like a jab from a knife. I spent many days caring for and trying to please others without caring for myself.
Extreme anxiety, panic attacks, and racing, unmanageable thoughts weighed me down and caused intense suffering. Overeating and feeling disconnected from myself and everyone around me was my means of coping.
My relationships were unhealthy, and it felt like I would be stuck in despair forever.
But I found help.
Spiritual practices and therapy brought me back from the brink of disaster, and I felt enormous relief from my suffering. Yoga, contact improvisation (connecting and dancing with others), meditation, and spiritual and body-centered practices helped me connect with my body and emotions.
But the work hasn’t ended; it’s a continual process that gets easier and more rewarding. My life became more fulfilling, my relationships improved, and I felt more in tune with myself. It was such a transformational experience that I made it my life’s mission to provide it for others.
Helping others find relief is my passion.
After receiving my master’s in Psychology from The New School for Social Research, I studied at the Psychosynthesis Institute in NYC, learning transpersonal therapy. My professional journey led me to psychosynthesis therapy.
After serving at-risk populations as a clinician for several years, I returned to school and earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Walden University. Throughout my career, I have strived to learn methods of therapy that can help bring relief to my clients. These methods include EMDR, Advanced Integrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
My Center for Holistic Healing is a dream come true for me. At the center, we use a therapeutic approach that addresses Mind – Body – Soul to bring wholeness and healing to all aspects of being.
And help is available for you, too.
We are all here to wake up each morning and enjoy life.
The goal of therapy is emotional freedom – to express thoughts and feelings openly and the freedom to act as your authentic self in all situations.
You can be free, too. Call me now, and let’s start creating the life you deserve.
Here are some personal notes.
For the last 20 years, my life has been complete, traveling the world, writing books, raising a son, and helping hundreds of clients get from deep pain and suffering to a place of freedom, hope, and joy.
My wife is the love of my life, and I enjoy having my son nearby. From where I started, life is fulfilling and peaceful.
I am taking a hiatus from having a therapy dog. Buddy was with me for the first ten years of my private practice. My second golden retriever, Ami, passed away in 2021.
