About Sephirah Stacy Oshkello, MS, RD, CD

SephirahYou put everyone else first and yourself last.

By putting yourself last, you fail to acknowledge how counterproductive that is for all of you in the long run.

There are consequences to ignoring your needs. Chronic illness, including pain, inflammation, or emotional eating, can sideline you. Your current weight makes you feel uncomfortable, but you can’t find an effective program you can stick with that works for you and your lifestyle.

Getting everything seems impossible because you lack the energy, especially without the support to balance work, home life, and self-care. You have had limited success with conventional medicine (or wish to avoid it) and want to try something different.

Continuing down the path that got you this far is not working anymore.

What Is Earth-Based Integrative Nutrition? Earth-Based Integrative Nutrition is a holistic approach to wellness that combines healing foods with healthy relationships and earth-based spiritual principles.

This approach affirms our innate wisdom, guiding us to listen to our body’s internal cues, helping align us with nature, and getting us present in our connection to the earth, self-love, and community. And it awakens possibility and purpose in life with the enduring alignment of mind, body, heart, and spirit.

How does it work?

We work together to choose the foods that resonate well with your unique body type as you practice listening to your body’s internal cues and develop mastery. We will integrate proven dietary shifts, meaningful connections, and adequate self-care, opening the door to more energy, satisfaction, replenishment, possibility, and purpose.

The focus is on connecting healthy living with food grown naturally and related to the soil. And we identify the elements of nutrition, exercise, stress management, and self-care that will work for you long term.

Healthy living with food is not something you’ll do for a month, but something that feels so good that you’ll want to sustain it for a lifetime.

Women

Here’s my promise to you.

Along with essential nutrition knowledge, you’ll get all the support you need to experience wellness filled with health, connection, and joy. That wellness includes no more sugar cravings, a robust immune system, improved digestion, losing unwanted weight without deprivation, overall well-being, and learning to love yourself.

If you bring the willingness, I’ll not only help you manage the concern that brought you here, but also help empower you to live a more vibrant, healthy, and purposeful life that nourishes your whole being – physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually – and profoundly enriches the lives of those you love.

About Me

Hi, I am Sephirah.

Although today I am a holistic healer leveraging multiple disciplines (integrative nutrition, wellness coaching, organic homesteading, farm education, and Jewish spirituality), I wasn’t always so invested in mind-body-heart-spirit wellness.

In high school, I began to use food to stuff my emotions. This behavior continued through college, where I quickly gained the “freshman 15” (and then some). So I tried my first restrictive diet and lost weight for a while. Still, I couldn’t keep it off because I fell back into familiar habits – ultimately damaging my metabolism and gut biome, resulting in painful gas and digestive upset.

Acknowledging the Problem – When I finally faced what was happening, I became aware of the vicious cycle of covering up uncomfortable symptoms and fueling my hungry heart with food, leading me to where I am today.

Taking Action – Self-reflection and working through my emotional pain were essential parts of the healing process. Through research, I found dietary guidelines for healing my microbiome. Rather than compulsive overeating, I found nourishment with friends, spiritual practices, connecting to the earth, and self-love. I learned an approach that included my whole being – physical, emotional, and spiritual.

“Long-lasting change can only come from kindness to yourself.”

Now, I am all in!

The shift I made resulted in my becoming immersed in a holistic lifestyle – eating homegrown food and connecting food to healthy farming and healthy bodies.

After earning a Master of Science in Nutrition and becoming a Registered Dietitian, I retained my commitment to growing clean food and the importance of spiritually nourishing for sustained healing.

Being an ordained Kohenet Hebrew Priestess supported my development of a spiritual practice that was pragmatic and profoundly fulfilling and helped me guide others in the development of their holistic wellness.

Now I have raised two kids, many veggies and animals for food, and helped hundreds of people learn what their bodies need to heal from the inside out. We integrate healthy meal plans and learn to listen to our innate wisdom while embracing healthy relationships and activities that bring body, heart, mental, and spiritual wellness.
